CarLiftBoard only facilitates contact between users — we do not independently verify anyone's identity, license or vehicle condition. Follow these guidelines to protect yourself when using any service you find here:

• Verify the other party's identity before your first trip, and share your live location with someone you trust if it's a first-time ride.
• Ask to see a driving license and vehicle registration if you're dealing with a driver for the first time.
• Never pay a deposit or any amount in advance before verifying the other party sufficiently.
• Agree clearly on price, route and timing before setting off, to avoid any misunderstanding later.
• Prefer meeting in a public, busy location for a first contact rather than a private residential address.
• If a listing seems suspicious, or someone asks for an unreasonable amount upfront, use the "Report this ad" button right away.
• Never share financial details or your account's verification codes with anyone else, under any circumstance.
